Moderation and the avoidance of extremes in one’s behavior was an important principle of life in ancient Greece. The maxim “Meden Agan” once inscribed at the entrance of the temple of Apollo at Delphi instructs the worshipers to avoid excess.
In our design, the Delphic maxim is shown between two tripods, a symbol of Apollo and his oracle.
