When it comes to the ancient Greek gods, nothing can be taken for granted. Οne day Zeus was suffering from a headache so bad, he ordered Hephaistos to split his head with an axe to relieve the pain. The cause of his discomfort was revealed, when Athena, goddess of wisdom, crafts, and warfare, sprang from Zeus’ head fully grown and armed.

Our design features the birth of Athena found on a black-figure vessel (575-550 BC). It depicts Zeus, seated on a throne holding a thunder-bolt above his head. Athena is shown emerging from his head, while Hephaestos, holding a double-axe and wearing a workman’s chiton and boots, looks on at the spectacle. To create a true black-figure effect, the background color of the shirt is used to accent details in the composition.

This thick cotton t-shirt is tubular construction means it's less fitted.
