Marine life was greatly celebrated in Aegean Prehistoric art. Octopuses, seashells, dolphins and fish decorated the surface of exquisite Mycenaean vases.
Our design is inspired by the gold octopus appliques that were sewn on the garments of Mycenaean elites. The blue background recalls the bottom of the sea as one sees it while swimming in the Aegean.
The soft fabric and flared skirt give it an elegant twist that brings out the intricate design with a beautiful vibrancy.
