De Re Coquinaria (About Cooking) is the oldest collection of ancient recipes to survive from antiquity. The work is attributed (perhaps erroneously) to Marcus Gavius Apicius, a known Roman “foodie” and lover of luxury who lived during the 1st century AD. Whatever the connection, the name of Apicius comes to be associated with a passion for fine dining and gourmet fare. Our design features a classical male silhouette representing the famous epicure surrounded by Discipulus Apici (Student of Apicius) – just to announce the source of your culinary inspiration.
The neck loop and long ties, two front pockets, and intricate embroidery in front all come together in an eye-catching and comfy accessory that'll make you long for more time in the kitchen.
