“Sed quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” Juvenal Satire VI, 347-348
Inspired by the Roman poet Juvenal and his famous question “But who will watch the watchmen themselves?”, we created a design that reflects upon the troubling issue of who can be trusted with power.
Although originally written with reference to ensuring marital fidelity, recently Juvenal’s question became relevant for many aspects of our life nearly 2,000 years later.
