Ancient Greek philosophers were no less concerned with the notion of happiness than we are today. At the heart of all their theories lies a unifying idea - that happiness is related to the pursuit of a simple life based on reason and justice.
The maxim "ΕΥΤΥΧΙΑΝ ΕΥΧΟΥ" once inscribed at the entrance of the temple of Apollo at Delphi advises the worshipers to wish happiness for themselves and everyone else.
In our design, the Delphic maxim is shown between two tripods, a symbol of Apollo and his oracle.
