Intellectual inquiry represents a core value in the ancient Greek world. From the paidago- goi homeschooling young kids to Socrates himself blatantly admitting that he did not know anything, the continuous pursuit of learning was of primary importance for the ancient Greeks and was even emphasized at the Oracle of Apollo.
The maxim "ΜΑΝΘΑΝΩΝ ΜΗ ΚΑΜΝΕ" once inscribed at the entrance of the temple of Apollo at Delphi advises the worshipers to never cease learning.
In our design, the Delphic maxim is shown between two tripods, a symbol of Apollo and his oracle.
