The Ides - March 15, 44 BC. Julius Caesar was assassinated by a cabal of Senators led by Brutus and Cassius. According to Plutarch, a seer warned Caesar he would be harmed no later than the Ides of March. On this day, Caesar passed the seer and joked "The Ides of March has come," implying his prophecy wasn’t fulfilled. The seer replied "Yes it has come, but not yet passed." Our design features a gore-covered aureus (gold coin) issued by Brutus in 42 BC. It depicts a pileus, the traditional freedmans cap (symbolizing the Roman people’s liberation from Caesar’s rule) flanked by two daggers and the legend EID MAR (Eidibus Martiis).

This thick cotton t-shirt makes for a go-to wardrobe staple! It's comfortable, soft, and its tubular construction means it's less fitted.
